What type of license is right for you?
Review the different FlowJo license types below before requesting your quote.
Individual Use License
FlowJo Portal is our user-based licensing system for single user FlowJo annual subscriptions. Once you create your account and your license is activated, you can sign into FlowJo on up to 4 computers with a valid internet connection, one computer at a time.
- Give individual users access to FlowJo™ Software on up to four internet-connected computers, one at a time
- Allow for removal and replacement of your four devices one time annually
- Provide access to FlowJo v10.5.2 and higher (Does NOT allow access to v9 and other legacy versions)
- Are annually renewed digital licenses
- Give free access to all FlowJo updates and upgrades
- Requires internet connection and the Google Chrome browser
- Allows a 24-hour offline window after sign-in
- Is compatible with Mac and PC
Group Use License
A FlowJo Portal site license is a user-based license management system for a group or institution with at least five FlowJo™ Software users.FlowJo Portal group licenses:
- Give each unique user in your group access to FlowJo on up to four internet-connected computers, one at a time
- Provide an easy-to-use user management interface for site administrators to invite users, manage registrations and customize their site
- Provide the most cost-effective option with a predictable yearly subscription
- Allow users to remove and replace their four devices one time annually
- Provide access for one user per purchased seat
- Provide access to FlowJo v10.5.2 and higher (Does NOT allow access to v9 and other legacy versions)
- Are annually renewed digital licenses
- Give free access to all FlowJo updates and upgrades
- Requires internet connection and the Google Chrome browser
- Allows a 24-hour offline window after sign-in
- Are compatible with Mac and PC

Dongles (now accepting trade-ins)
A Dongle license:
- Is a perpetual license for FlowJo v10 or v9
- A Dongle plugs into USB port on either a Mac or a PC and can be used at multiple workstations (one at a time)
- Will not upgrade to future version updates of FlowJo beyond v10, unless dongle is traded-in for a FlowJo Portal annual subscription
- Is a perpetual offline license that does not require annual renewal
- Cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen
