New Features:
- Platforms:
- A new Cell Cycle platform for univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses.
 - Plate Editor : An entirely new platform for annotating, grouping, and organizing plate-based flow cytometry data including new tools for:
 - Script Editor: A new platform which provides low level access to the core tools of the FlowJo engine.

 - Compatibility: FlowJo is now available for LINUX.
 - Gating:
 - Workspace:
- Added ability for keywords to move to the top of the list once used
 - Clicking on a compensation node opens compensation editor
 - Changed name of “Instrumentation” band to “Cytometry” (workspace tab)

 - Layout Editor :
- New sidebar for quickly editing the properties of a selected chart or object
 - New Visualizations for Plate-based data including whole-plate heatmapping and Chernoff faces

 - Table Editor:
- Batched report menu re-design as a well as a “Hide/Show Summary Stats” menu item

 - Export:
- Parameter annotation added to CSV Export
 - New feature to select to export compensated parameters into new FCS files

 - Preferences:
- Printing and ruler preferences for the Layout Editor update live
 - Added Preferences for default histogram style
 - “Don’t show again” preferences for dialog windows
 - Plate preferences for setting preferred visualizations and frequently-used keywords.

 - Improved Experiment Annotation tool for MIFlowCyt annotation of experiments, included in the new Experiment band.
 - Icon improvement in the workspace .
 - Transforms are now saved with templates which preserves gating geometry and allows for the automated application of both transforms and gates.

Known issues:
- Multidimensional Cell Cycle Modeling is under construction and will be released soon in a beta version.
 - 3D Viewer, Kinetics, and Population comparison are still under construction.
 - Boolean combination gates containing NOT with AND or OR gates. Identical gates are not clone gates.
 - Compensation with BioRad S3 samples.
 - No progress indication when opening ACS files.
 - PDF exporting when legend runs over a page.
 - Opening 9.7.1 jo files: Bisector gate is converted to two range gates, and quadrant gates are converted to 4 rectangle gates.
 - Layout Editor:
- FlowJo will run out of memory when batching NxN many times
 - batched tables to the Layout Editor do not update

 - We do not support Java 7. Windows versions include Java 6, and Java 6 can be installed with OSx along with Java 7 so FlowJo can use Java 6.
 - Undo and Redo may have unexpected results. We hope this is better in a future release. If you have specific cases where undo or redo is failing, please let us know.
 - Workspace:
- Insufficient progress when opening large WSP files…
 - User not provided feedback that workspace is still calculating on long calculations
