The Locks band allows the user to secure aspects of specific figures in the layout from being changed. Use this band when you want to continue editing your layout without accidentally making changes to the position, content, or size of certain images.
Lock Position
Select a figure and then check this box to prevent the figure from being moved. If you wish to move this figure at a later point, simply select the figure again and uncheck this box.
Lock Content
Select a figure and then check this box to prevent the content inside that figure from being edited. If you wish to make changes to this content at a later point, simply select the figure again and uncheck this box.
Lock Size
Select a figure and then check this box to prevent the figure’s size from being changed. If you wish to resize this figure at a later point, simply select the figure again and uncheck this box.
