CopyTransforms

Transforms that have been modified on one compensation matrix can be copied to another matrix.

FlowJo ties transformation settings to compensation matrices. Ideally, all files from the same experiment should have the same transform to allow for direct comparison. Our working assumption is that if files are from the same experiment, they will all share a compensation matrix and thus we automatically update the transform for all files based on compensation matrices.

In the world of high-parameter data analysis the need to adjust many parameters, each slightly differently may arise. The compensation editor can be used to copy the full set of compensation adjustments including type of transform, width basis, and range.

To access the tool, drag and drop a sample on top of the top level of a sample you want to change. A confirmation dialog will appear and if you accept, the transform settings for the dragged-to sample will update to match the dragged-from sample, and this will be automatically reflected on all plots.
